On the third day, 'Crakk,' featuring Vidyut Jammwal, achieves an estimated opening weekend collection of Rs 10 crore at the box office
Vidyut Jammwal's action-packed thriller 'Crakk' faced mixed reviews initially, but that didn't hinder its success at the box office during its first weekend. The film gathered an estimated total of Rs 10 crore by the end of the weekend.
As per sacnilk.com's early estimates, 'Crakk' kicked off its theater journey with a strong opening day earning of Rs 4.25 crore. Despite a slight dip on Saturday with around Rs 2.15 crore, the film saw a modest improvement on Sunday, collecting an estimated Rs 2.40 crore. This brought the cumulative weekend earnings to approximately Rs 8.80 crore.
Internationally, 'Crakk' earned an estimated $69,000 from the US and Canada markets.
Despite the mixed reviews, 'Crakk' maintained an overall occupancy rate of 13.33%, with night shows having the highest attendance. The film benefited from a boost in opening day figures due to discounted ticket prices of Rs 99 on Cinema Lovers Day. Directed by Aditya Datt, 'Crakk' features Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi, and Amy Jackson alongside Vidyut Jammwal. The film follows a gripping narrative portraying a man's journey from Mumbai's slums to extreme underground sports.
Vidyut expressed gratitude for bringing his ambitious project to life, emphasizing the film's adrenaline-fueled visual spectacle. Despite facing tough competition from Yami Gautam's 'Article 370,' which emerged as the weekend box office winner surpassing Rs 20 crore, 'Crakk' held its ground, showcasing resilience in the face of competition.
