Honor Magic 6 and Magic V2 Series revealed at MWC 2024: Explore specs, pricing, and availability
Honor has introduced its Honor Magic 6 and Honor Magic V2 series globally, unveiling the smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. The Honor Magic 6 series boasts Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, MagicOS 8.0 based on Android 14, LTPO OLED display, and a triple rear camera setup. In contrast, the Honor Magic V2 foldable smartphones feature MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and IP68 dust and water resistance. These smartphones are currently available for purchase in China.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro, equipped with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, is priced at EUR 1,299 (approximately Rs. 1,16,600) and will be available for pre-order from February 25, with sales starting on March 1. The Honor Magic V2 RSR, featuring 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, is priced at EUR 2,699 (roughly Rs. 2,42,000) and will be available for pre-order from February 25, with sales beginning on March 18.
Both the Honor Magic 6 and Magic 6 Pro run on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0 and feature a 6.78-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. Powered by a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the phones offer up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 180-megapixel 2.5x periscope telephoto camera, a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. It also features a 50-megapixel front camera and a 3D depth sensor.
On the other hand, the Honor Magic 6 features a 50-megapixel wide-angle camera, a 32-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera in its triple rear camera setup. The front camera is a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens.
Connectivity options for both models include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The smartphones are equipped with various sensors, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra sound effects. Both models carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The Honor Magic 6 Pro houses a 5,600mAh battery with 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging support, while the Honor Magic 6 is equipped with a 5,450mAh battery supporting 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
